PANAMA PROGRAM - Engine Cadet Course
1. In this program the candidates undergo a 1 year of Pre-Sea training Program in any one of the academies in India. i.e Bharath Institute Of Marine Services.
2. Then the candidate avails his STCW certificate (Issued by Govt Of India) and can apply for any CDC license (issued by Respective Govt of/ Panama/ / Libyan/ , Academy will assist the candidates).
3. Now the cadet sails as junior engineer on our managed vessels with minimum contract of 12 months with minimum package of around USD300 monthly. (Exclusive of other benefits Like OT’s etc).
4. Post completion of 12 months of Pre sea training , the candidate becomes a 4th Engineer , with a minimum Salary of 1500 – 2000 USD /month
5. Subsequently the cadet can rise up to the level of Chief Engineer with in a period of 8-10 years on successful completion of COC examinations.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- 50% on aggregate ( B.Tech Mechanical, Automobile/Mechantronics only).
- 40% minimum in English subject ( 10th/12th)
- No Color Blindness
- Eye sight +/-2.5
- No permanent physical disability.

The shortlisted candidates will further proceed for their medical test which will be conducted by a DG Shipping Approved Doctor.
