Bharath Institute of Marine Services is located in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh which is home to many global IT firms, international companies, central and state government units, research and development institutes, and defense establishments. It is one of India’s prominent seat of learning and has played hosts to many distinguished personalities and international conferences and seminars.

BIMS ensures that when a new Merchant Navy aspirant comes to join us, we are able to give him/her the best maritime training environment and facility available. For this purpose, we have established a dedicated facility and world-class environment for our cadets.

Our academy is situated in a major location in Hyderabad. It covers an area of 2000 Sq. Ft area just for the training facilities. Air-conditioned and sound-proof classrooms, Seamanship Lab, Technical Lab, Multimedia aids, LCD projectors etc. are a few highlights of our facility.

Hostel facilities with recreation room for boys & girls are arranged on request/demand at reasonable cost. In addition, hygienic veg/non-veg food, packaged drinking water etc. will also be provided.

Because good health and physical fitness is extremely important for a merchant navy officer, sporting and other physical activities are given lots of importance.

Holidays are utilized for various extra and co curricular activities like industrial visits, picnic, trekking etc.
